If you are not leveraging video on Facebook, you really need to start doing so. The Facebook algorithm is extremely kind to videos of all kind. Live especially.
KNOW WHAT YOUR AUDIENCE LIKES.
If your audience loves to be motivated, to be entertained, to feel something emotional, whatever it may be, cater to them. Remember, not everything has to be a sales pitch. Keep yourself in their mind, and when it comes to the right time to strike, you’ll be ready and waiting.
DON’T JUST POST YOUR OWN CONTENT.
Facebook’s algorithm hates people who blow their own trumpet all day long, the same as we do as people in general. Nobody likes to hear shameless self-promotion all day long. Avoid it. It may seem counter intuitive, but just trust me, it pays dividends. Share content from other pages with content your audience may find interesting.
If your audience likes a certain thing, don’t post something completely out of their comfort zone, disgruntled people are a pain in the ass to deal with at the best of times. It’s not worth the hassle, nor the lack of decent engagement on the posts.
ORGANIC IS NOT DEAD.
These stats posted from our local community page I LOVE Dr. Phillips. We try to post daily and use as much video as possible. A normal cycle of videos will usually give us the biggest bump in reach! If you use video, your reliance on ads will decrease, but your efficiency with ads will increase dramatically.
However many people you have following you, don’t give up. Keep posting, stay relevant and always keep your eye on the end goal. It’s closer than you think especially if you are using video!
